Welcome to ANZABS
What is ANZABS?
ANZABS is the acronym for the Aotearoa-New Zealand Association for Biblical Studies.
ANZABS began with an inaugural conference in late October 1998. So far it has held six annual conferences. It exists as a loose association of people who teach, research or have an interest in the field of Biblical Studies. The annual conference provides a forum at which people can read and listen to papers, meet with colleagues from around the country, and share ideas.
A list of members is administered currently by Derek Tovey, who also hosts this blog.
This is a new venture designed to facilitate the sharing of news and ideas.
If you are interested in joining ANZABS, contact Derek on d.tovey@auckland.ac.nz
